Tydeligvis har treneren gått bort fra betingelsen om å se ham i aksjon før kontraktsinngåelse, som dermed tilsynelatende er nært forstående - eller allerede i orden. I så fall blir Lago med på treningsleir i Andesfjellene fra 4. januar:

La situación de Lago fue distinta. El defensa charrúa no tiene mucha continuidad en el Ronsenborg y apenas su agente le habló sobre la oferta cervecera, no dudó y aceptó. A ambos jugadores los representa Ricky Schanks.
Con estos dos jugadores se cierra el tema de fichajes en Cristal. El 4 de enero empieza la pretemporada con los exámenes médicos en la clínica Los Andes. Luego empezarán con los trabajos el 6 de enero en la Florida. Ahí trabajarán por espacio de tres días, para luego trasladarse a la Ciudad de Arequipa en donde estarán por espacio de 10 días y luego regresarán a Lima para internarse en el Club Remanso, en donde permanecerán por espacio de una semana.
Los últimos en llegar: Rengifo y Lago ya serían de Cristal

Forleden var det fortsatt ikke avklart om det blir overgang til Cristal, og Lago er i motsetning til f.eks. nyinnkjøpte Juan José Barros ikke nevnt av sportsdirektøren:
"The players who hold foreign quota are: Jorge Cazula Nicolas Ayr, and Leandro Franco, who will come mid-year. We have two foreign quotas occupied the 6 that will allow during the year: with 4 in court. I think the idea of the Football Association is to be 5, but once you submit these rules will discuss this issue."
Spørsmålet er om det drøyer før de nevnte treningskampene:

Velger å holde liv i debatten til Lago finner seg klubb.
Han var i alle fall ikke med på årets første trening til Cristal, som tilsynelatende har begynt å komplettere stallen.
Kan synes som om Nicolás Ayr ble foretrukket framfor ham, og at Lago må leite videre. |
