Per Joar Hansen was satisfied with his debut match as Rosenborg coach, and wasn't scared by the goals conceded.

"More entertaining it isn't possible to get, is it? It was a circus!" Perry smiled during the press conference.

Attack style football on its best
The official statistics showed 33-14 in shots, in favour of Rosenborg. In other words, a pure fiest of chances in the northerners first game as boss at Lerkendal.

"Offensively, I am extremely well pleased. Our attacking style 'waved' good, we created chances 2 against 1 and had many good cross runs. In whole, this was the kind of attacking gameplay we want," Per Joar Hansen stated.

Yet another penalty miss
RBK should however have gotten all the points in this match. In addition to a lot of failed big chances, Harald Brattbakk hit the post when taking a penalty shot at 3-4.

"He believed that he'd score this time, and was allowed to take the penalty shot. I guess we'll send forth Hoftun next time," Perry joked, who nevertheless saw the sad facts:

"We've been awarded five penalties this year, without scoring once. Even in the cup game against Rissa where we won 15-0, we missed the penalty."

But still, in spite of the penalty miss, Brattbakk scored twice. That promises well for the future.

"Harald seems quick and hot. I am sure he'll make his return," Hansen stated.

Will work on the defense
Yes, the team scored several times, but Per Joar cannot hide the fact that also the guests scored a lot.

"Defensively, it is too weak to let in four goals when we score four ourselves. Especially two of the goals were cheap," the new boss felt, and tought of keeper Espen Johnsen's mistakes.

This, however, shall be corrected before the last three games of 2004.

"We concentrated fully on the attacking gameplay in the two sessions we had before this game. And that gave results. If the defensive part is fixed equally easy, this is no problem," Perry grinned.
