I assume you are aware of the probable "best line-up" in the moment:
Daniel Örlund
Mikael Lustig - Kris Stadsgaard - Vadim Demdiov - Mikael Dorsin
Fredrik Winsnes - Anthony Annan - Per Ciljan Skjelbred
Markus Henriksen
Rade Prica - Steffen Iversen
Winsnes and Skjelbred are not so wide anymore. |

Don't think we have to wait too much longer before we can say for sure that we will win. It all depends on what Vålerenga and Tromsø does in the next few matches. If they lose any more points now I think there's no way Rosenborg is going to give it away.
I have a feeling we might lose a match soon though, we've not been too stable lately, and with all the focus on Champions League qualifiers, that might upset the performance in Tippeligaen a little. _________________ Kvit og Svart, Alltid! |

Thanks Haugesund (2-0 vs VIF). Almost secured another Gold, should help us put more focus now on the two games against FCK. |

Don't forget the Norwegian Cup and the quarter-final game against 'Start'. We haven't played the final or won the Norwegian Cup since 2003.. _________________ - Rune Hauge er ingen kjeltring, men tvert i mot en grepa kar. Han er den ærligste mannen jeg kjenner. Back to league business tonight, arguebly the biggest game of the season at home to MFK. Normally you would say it's a tough game, but they are really struggling this season. I suppose Diouf was a huge loss for them and they still haven't really got a strong defence either.
So, we should be looking to win. Hopefully if we score and gain a comfortable lead, we can rest players for Kobenhavn. |

Good result tonight, 3-1. I managed to catch the first half, nice set-up play from Moldskred. He might turn out to be a better wide man than main striker?
Wangberg looks ok too. |

Brann 0-1 RBK at half-time. Playing well right now. It's the first time I've seen brann play this year and they're awful. |

Slutt - Brann 2-3 RBK. It turned out to be a good "klassike" but again, how difficult did we make that? That must be the worst Brann team we've played in a long while.
Looking around at other matches, the Brazilian for Tromso looks like a player that would add quality to RBK. Stabaek lost 0-3, worrying sign or has Jonsson pretty much given up at Baerum?
Molde look to be safe but Rosler won't turn out to be a good appointment I don't think. They were pretty close last year to an amazing season in the league and cup.
Gull at home to Valerenga anyone? |

When we were 1-0 up against Viking a week ago, I was hoping to celebrate against VIF. But after they won at Viking yesterday, I think 10 points ahead before the Lerkendal game is not going to happen, even though Brann can shock them.
I.e. we have to wait at least until the match at Hønefoss. But some celebratations are likely if we e.g. are 10 points ahead after the Vålerenga match with four matches to go.
But first things first: Winning in Drammen next Sunday is not a walk-over. |

You are always right 2mas. Godset 1-1 RBK, VIF 1-0 Brann. It's going to be interesting...but we will still win the championship. |

Well, RBK 3-1 VIF. Midfield was great tonight, especially Anthony Annan. Tongiht summed up the season, we are still that little bit better than the rest despite Valerenga being a decent side.
They will be tough opponents next year, but it's Rosenborg's year this year...again! |

0-2, comfortable win. If VIF lose next Saturday, have we won the title? it would be nice to win it ourselves at home to Tromso and take the unbeaten record as well. |

Yep, vi have a eight point lead now with three rounds to go. If VIF give away any more points, we have won! _________________ Det er bedre å stupe ut i smørøyet enn å gå rundt grøten! |

Champions!
Poor performance tonight against Tromso who to be fair, played for a draw. Annan was man of the match for me, can we keep hold of him?
A good season, the only real bad moment was going out of the champions league to FCK - would have been nice for Eggen/Strand to have one last campagn.
Hamren deserves the bulk of the credit for the team he put together, Jonsson will have the task of keeping it together and adding more good players.
Who would have though 10, 11, 12, 13 would be Viking, Stabaek, Brann and Molde? Despite a strong VIF, it's surely helped thsi year that most of our rivals have been so inept. |

"It was nice to finally settle it; the game against Tromsø was far from easy and there were a lot of tired legs out there," said Eggen, who has won 14 titles in his six spells at Rosenborg plus another with Moss FK in 1987.

A little weird that Henriksen wasn't mentioned. Especially since it's written by a Norwegian. |

Henriksen has added value to the team, definetly looking the more promising of the two son's of ex-players. Jamtfall doesn't really look like a great striker right now.
With Jonsson having coached Annan at Stabaek, is there a chance this could help persuade him to stay? I guess money will dictate.
P.S - How old is Strand's son? (I assume he has one, if he does, it might be a good idea to get him signed. ) |
